Light ash brown hair with Liese Prettia High Bleach
This will probably be a publish about how exactly I accomplished an easy ash brown hair colour without bleach, using simple items you can purchase in the shopping center. I may also be looking at Liese Prettia's new colour, "High Bleach" in the finish from the publish. I spent several months trying to puzzle out how to do this colour with one goal in your mind: NO BLEACH. I greatly dislike the thought of bleaching my hair because the damage is going to be almost irreversible, specifically for lengthy hair. It's pricey in the salon and very hard to do in your own home alone.
However the light ash brown colour I needed to attain 'required' bleach because it was an amount 8-9 (as relayed through numerous salon stylists). It is not easy to lift colour without bleach. However I was going to try.
If your box of "Least heavy Ash Blonde 10.1" that exist in the grocery stores can lift virgin black hair to some golden brown, would it not seem sensible that could lift any hair colour?
But no.... I attempted using light ash blonde colour tube combined with 20 vol peroxide also it made my hair more dark. Because apparently ash dyes may cause your hair being more dark because of its silver tones (it was told in my experience by salon stylists). With this thought.... I figured about toners but did not really know very well what the merchandise was. But works out a toner could be anything as lengthy because it corrects the color. You are able to tone hair with dye, having a toner with colour deposit. And So I thought.... if ash dyes avoid anything for all of us asian hair.... then so what can? Find outttt moreeeee within this publish!
They are several photos of my hair prior to the dying process. Slightly orange but a reasonably light brown.
I made use of Liese Prettia's High Bleach within my hair and left it set for 40 minutes having a cap, wishing that securing within the warmth can help the color to process better. It's known as "High Bleach" however i don't believe it's bleach inside it whatsoever :/ There's no bleach powder or bleach cream within the box. Later on, my hair didn't come out such as the hair samples whatsoever, it had been a horrid orangey colour (not surprisingly). You might not have the ability to see within the above photo since it is wet.
This is when these 3 fabulous items are available in. Pantene's Deep Building up Intensive Treatment, Schwarzkopf blonde toner and fudge's fresh paint box. It required my several months to learn how to create an ash colour on asian hair. As you can tell, the fresh paint box dye I selected is within Blue Hawaii, the least heavy blue they presently have within their line (open to us in shops anyway) and also the blonde toner is crimson. Exactly why blonde toner is crimson happens because crimson pigments counter/neutralise yellow tones.
This can be a colour wheel. It is applicable to every aspect of art in addition to everything primary, secondary, complimentary la-di-da stuff. But when you see, the color opposite yellow is crimson, the color opposite orange is blue and also the colour opposite red-colored is eco-friendly. Fundamental essentials colours which will block out/neutralise eachother in hair. This is exactly why blonde toner is crimson therefore it can eliminate yellow undertones. But exactly what do we all do with orange hair? Crimson does not do much for orange hair, type of progressively turns it right into a more yellowy colour (learnt from experience :( ). Around Australia, we do not have blue shampoo or such things as that. The nearest we'll find yourself getting is crimson shampoo/conditioner plus some silver toners and more. I have also looked EVERYWHERE and you will find no permanent blue dyes. Since brown hair isn't as porous as blonde hair, the color will not be absorbed or as vibrant (eg. dying blonde hair pink will come out much better than dying brown hair pink = pink will not turn on the brown since it is darker and uneven). With nevertheless, blue dye could be utilized for a toner for orangey brown hair. I attempted this process once with my more dark brown hair however it still wasn't light enough to become noticeable. Making this why we want a small lift, that we used Liese Prettia's High Bleach for. Since Orange itself has some yellow undertones, I made use of both blue dye and blonde toner together, combined with the intensive treatment conditioner having a ratio of just one:1:3. The choice is yours just how much this ratio is but when hair is brown, it will not really matter since the colour will not appear unless of course you've bleached hair. This can only behave as a color neutraliser, not really a colour deposit/dye.
I apply all of this over my hair and then leave it set for another 40 minutes. Make certain to use this on towel dried hair. Just like you had just shampoo'd and you are likely to put conditioner inside it. They are several photos from the result once i blow dried. Also under different lighting. It is not as ashy as I'd would like it to be but it is certainly a significant improvement from things i had before. It does not really look this way but it is certainly a great deal lighter than these hair colour and can take some becoming accustomed to because certain parts look eco-friendly (the result of ash). Some blonder items of my hair completely absorbed the color and also have switched a cool blue.
Overall. The Liese Prettia High Bleach did its job in lifting my hair colour. But honestly, don't trust that piece of fabric because Nobody can get that lovely golden yellow. It'll never happen. Ahahaha. For smell... well it truly really smelled. It stung my eyes. But that is okay all of us make these kinds of factors when dying our hair right? I'll provide 4/5 points overall.
Basically had not put this blue treatment within my hair it could have been a truly horrible orange colour which should never begin to see the light of day.
I really hope this publish was useful for you, for those who have any queries please leave them within the comments and i'll certainly respond! :) It was all learning from mistakes by myself hair and that i can't guarantee that it'll meet your needs but I am fairly sure it'll because the concept is identical.
